Marketing firm Epsilon, which employs 400 people in the Bay State and 2,200 worldwide, has expanded its Wakefield lease by 22,000 square feet.

The eight-year lease agreement will increase Epsilon’s total presence at its 601 Edgewater Drive facility to 135,000-square-feet, and will provide additional opportunity for growth and expansion, according to a statement.

"Epsilon has a long and successful 40-year history in the Boston area," said Epsilon President and CEO Bryan Kennedy. "Wakefield has been a home to Epsilon associates for over six years and we look forward to growing into our new space as we increase our presence and continue to recruit the top talent in the region to best service our vast global client base."

John Boyle and Michael O’Leary of FHO Partners represented Epsilon in the transaction. Chip Batchelder, managing director of Wyman Street Advisors represented the owner Hobbs Brook Management LLC.

"Epsilon’s growth is a testament to the quality of its industry-leading talent and expertise, and an indicator that innovative firms like Epsilon are paving the way with the most advanced services and technology available today," said John Boyle, partner at FHO Partners. "We were pleased to assist Epsilon with its expansion, and we commend this dynamic company for its commitment to growth in Massachusetts."
