Woburn’s EXIT Realty Corp. International has recommitted its support for Habitat for Humanity by pledging another $313,000 in donations, bringing the total amount dedicated to the group to $2 million to date.
In 2010, EXIT Realty was the full corporate sponsor of five Habitat for Humanity homes, bringing the total to 16 completed across the U.S. and Canada since the beginning of its partnership in 2000.
EXIT real estate agents from across the continent participate in home builds and a portion of every transaction fee collected by EXIT Realty Corp. International is pledged to Habitat for Humanity, according to a statement.
"Our partnerships are critical to the success of Habitat’s mission of ending poverty housing," said Mark Crozet, senior vice president of Resource Development for Habitat for Humanity International. "By investing time, money and other resources, EXIT Realty and its associates join hands with people around the world who are working toward a future in which everyone has a decent, safe and affordable place to live."
"EXIT Realty is an empathy driven company and we’re proud to align ourselves with an organization where teamwork makes miracles happen for low-income families," said Steve Morris, EXIT Realty’s founder and CEO. "Homeownership remains the cornerstone of the North American dream."
