Melissa Butler Bennett Melissa Butler Bennett and Toni Loiacano have been named project executive and project manager, respectively, at EYP Architecture & Engineering’s Boston office.

Butler Bennett is responsible for business development as well as overseeing and reporting on programming, planning, and design of cost-effective, energy-efficient projects for the firm’s higher education and library sectors.

"Melissa has a tremendous record of establishing strong customer relationships and improving methods to achieve high-quality projects with timely and cost-effective results," said EYP president and CEO Tom Birdsey. "Her extensive experience in public and academic libraries and institutional facilities in general, make her a valuable member of our team."

Previously, Bennett was associate principal at Shepley Bulfinch Richardson and Abbott in Boston.

Loiacano is responsible for planning, programming and management of day-to-day operational aspects of projects in EYP’s undergraduate science sector.

"Whether it is helping with marketing initiatives or business development activities, her demonstrated leadership and team-oriented approach make her a great addition to the firm."

Prior to joining EYP, Loiacano served as project manager and senior programmer/planner for URS Corp. in Southfield, Mich., where she was responsible for the master planning and programming of several higher education projects, according to a statement.
