The Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. will host a meeting of the Advisory Committee on Community Banking this Wednesday.
Senior staff are slated to discuss and provide updates on fintech, Millennials’ perspectives on banking, the agency’s community banking initiative, the Economic Growth and Regulatory Paperwork Reduction Act regulatory review and consumer compliance issues. FDIC senior staff will also make a presentation on recent supervisory developments.
The meeting, scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the FDIC’s main building in Washington, D.C., is open to the public and will also be webcast live.
