Heather Fernald has been named the new registrar of Jack Conway Realtor’s Real Estate Referral Registry, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the 56-year-old firm.
The registry, which consists of people with current real estate licenses but not working in the industry, generates leads of potential homebuyers and sellers for the Conway sales force, according to a statement.
"The Registry members simply call me with the names of friends or family who intend to make a move," said Fernald. "I place those customers with Conway agents, and when the transactions close, the members earn sizable referral fees."
Fernald started her Conway career as a sales agent in the Whitman office in 2009. She later moved to a corporate position at the firm’s Norwell headquarters.
"I hope to increase the membership of our Registry in the year ahead," Fernald said. "I urge anyone who has a real estate license but is not using it to consider joining the Real Estate Referral Registry. No matter how you look at it, making money for a phone call is a pretty good deal."
