Jordanna Ferreira, a 25-year real estate veteran, has been appointed chief financial officer and chief compliance officer at Boston-based The Davis Cos.

In this role, Ferreira will oversee all aspects of the company’s financial activities, including debt and equity financing, investor reporting, capital markets strategies, risk management, information technology and human resources, according to a statement. She will serve on the firm’s senior management team and investment committee.

"Jordanna is a proven leader of real estate investment funds on behalf of institutional partners," said Jonathan Davis, CEO and founder of The Davis Cos. "She brings a style to our team which will encourage and sustain our existing successes and our growth."

Ferreira most recently served as principal and CFO for San Francisco’s MacFarlane Partners and as campaign controller for U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein.
