Newton-based First Commons Bank N.A. has made three key management promotions in its retail banking operations.

Mark G. Jurilla has been promoted to senior vice president and chief retail officer. In this role, he will lead First Commons Bank’s retail operations and will have two branches reporting to him, Newton Centre and the soon-to-be-opened Wellesley branch, according to a statement. Jurilla previously served as senior vice president of retail banking and branch manager.

Lena K. Chouljian has been promoted to vice president and Newton Centre branch manager. As branch manager, she will be responsible for the day-to-day sales and operations of the branch. Chouljian previously served as assistant branch manager.

Paul I. Budnick has been promoted to Newton Centre assistant branch manager. In this role, he will assist with the sales and operations, staff development and client service responsibilities of First Commons Bank’s Newton Centre branch. Before his promotion, Budnick was senior client service representative.
