First Republic Bank, a private bank and wealth management company with branches in Boston, is going public.
The California-based company said today the pricing of its initial public offering of 11 million shares of common stock is $25.50 per share. The shares will be traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol "FRC."
The offering is expected to close on Tuesday, subject to the completion of customary closing conditions, the company said. Net proceeds of the initial public offering to First Republic are estimated to be $95.2 million.
First Republic said it intends to use its proceeds for funding loans and purchasing investment securities for its portfolio. First Republic will not receive any proceeds from the sale of common stock by the selling shareholders, the firm said.
