Larry Fishman has been named a senior supervising engineer in the Boston office of Parsons Brinckerhoff.

He will be responsible for project development and management consulting on projects covering a range of power generation technologies, fuels and commercial arrangements, the company said in a statement. 

Fishman has more than 35 years of experience in the energy and electric power generation industry. Prior to joining Parsons Brinckerhoff, he was director of technical services and business development for a global power company. He led asset purchase and divestiture opportunities, managed issues facing the firm’s portfolio of contract and merchant generation businesses and administered large capital improvement projects.

Fishman received a master’s degree in business administration and a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Northeastern University.
