Fitness Equipment Northeast has leased 3,200 square feet at 248 Worcester Road in Framingham.

The chain, which has other locations in Needham and Nashua, N.H., will open in September.

Marlene Aron represented the tenant, and was the sole broker involved in the transaction.

"The Metrowest Rte. 9 search included eight other sites. 248 Worcester was chosen for its windowline that offered expansive visibility that was visible to the Rte. 9 drive-by consumers from both sides of Rte. 9 and a landlord willing to renovate the store with a everything from ADA bathrooms to new energy efficient glass," said Aron.
