Sumner Jaggi LLC, which owns a food distribution business, has purchased a 31,200-square-foot warehouse at 53 Sumner St. in Milford.

The building, which sits on 3.08 acres, was purchased for $1.53 million, according to records obtained by The Warren Group, publisher of Banker & Tradesman. It was last assessed for $1.7 million.

Eric Brosler of Metrowest Commercial Real Estate, represented the buyer in the transaction, according to a statement. Rick Kaplan, president of the Commercial Division of RE/MAX Executive Realty, represented the seller, CDN Land Co.

Kaplan was also involved in two other sales transactions recently.

Old New England Construction, which specializes in retail buildings, purchased a 3,000-square-foot industrial building at 31 Maple St. in Bellingham for $265,000, according to a statement. The building was last assessed for $225,100, according to The Warren Group.

Kaplan represented both the owner and buyer in the Bellingham sales transaction.

John Calarese & Co., which specializes in sale of supplies to the janitorial and food service industry, purchased a 6,800-square-foot office and warehouse building at 108 Adams St. in Medfield. The sale price was not disclosed.

The seller was represented by John Eysenbach of R.W. Holmes Realty Co., according to a statement. Kaplan represented the buyer.

The Medfield building was last purchased for $555,000 in 2003, according to The Warren Group. It was last assessed for $471,400.
