Kimberly M. Anderson has joined Whitinsville-based UniBank as vice president of finance, playing a major role in all financial activities of the bank and contributing to the formulation and execution of the bank’s financial policies and procedures.

Prior to joining UniBank, Anderson worked at Cambridge Savings Bank for two years as assistant controller. Before that, she worked at Commonwealth National Bank in Worcester for six years as controller/treasurer.

UniBank has assets of roughly $1.3 billion, and operates branches in the Blackstone Valley. The bank said it anticipates opening another traditional branch in Worcester in the comping weeks, to supplement its already existing loan office in the city.
