David Friedberg has been named chief executive officer of Boston Realty Advisors’ residential division.
Friedberg began his career in commercial real estate in 1982 and moved into residential real estate in 1986. He has served as the senior vice president and manager of the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage office in Brookline since 1993.
"David’s range of expertise, his residential background, industry achievements and management experience make him the perfect fit as the CEO of our residential division," said Jason Weissman, founder of Boston Realty Advisors. "David’s immediate focus will be to continue to reinforce and grow our firms’ market share within the residential space in the city of Boston, specifically to the luxury condominium segment. The market size in commission dollars is approximately $90 million in fees, and we want to increase our share of this pie. We are confident he is going to be a great leader for our residential division and company as a whole."
"Boston Realty Advisors has a great brand and position in the Boston and New England marketplaces; as the chief executive officer of the residential division, I look forward to immediately increasing our teams market share and presence in the city of Boston," said Friedberg. "I was drawn to BRA because of their well-known prestige, superior technology, local ownership and their dedication to their clientele."
Friedberg, of Boston, is a past president of the Greater Boston Association of Realtors and former Realtor of the Year, and serves or has served as chair, co-chair and member of the education, finance, nominating and awards committees. He also serves on the board of directors for the Massachusetts Association of Realtors.
