Peter Leahy, former chief operating officer for State Street Global Advisors, recently paid $4 million for a condo at the Clarendon, a luxury residential tower in Boston’s ritzy Back Bay neighborhood.

Leahy, who left State Street in 2005, bought unit 26a in the 400 Stuart St. building, according to information from The Warren Group, publisher of Banker & Tradesman.

According to a LinkedIn account, Leahy is now president at a company called Stuart Street Consulting.
