Framingham Co-operative Bank recently contributed $5,000 to the Buddy Dog Humane Society, a nonprofit animal welfare organization dedicated to finding homes for homeless dogs and cats.
Framingham Co-operative Bank donated $10 to the organization each time a new personal or business checking account was opened during last year’s Checking for Charity program, according to a statement.
