General Dynamics Mission Systems has leased 131,000 square feet at 100 Rustcraft Road in Dedham.

The company, previously known as General Dynamics C4 Systems, will move to the new location in the fourth quarter.

100 Rustcraft Road is a 493,000 square foot complex owned by a fund managed by the Boston-based Davis Cos., which houses a combination of Class-A high-bay warehouse, laboratory facilities, single-story R&D space and corporate office space. Tenants include The American Red Cross, Bank of America and Beth Israel Deaconness Medical Center.

General Dynamics Mission Systems plans to occupy a redeveloped portion of the east end of the property, which is being fully renovated by an affiliate of The Davis Cos. into a single-story office and R&D structure. As part of these renovations, The Davis Cos. will demolish the building to its foundation and rebuild all new exterior elements, base building systems and core functions. Substantial completion is targeted for August 2015.

The project team includes Spagnolo Gisness & Assoc. as the project architect and Erland Construction as the base building contractor.
