Boston-area real estate company Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty has acquired Century 21 Elizabeth Roberts Realty in Dedham.
Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty Co-Owner, Michael Hansen, said he is excited about the opportunity for his company to expand, as well as the benefit of offering another choice for consumers in the Dedham area.
"My partners and I are absolutely thrilled to welcome Liz and her company," Hansen said in a statement. "Her business has been an integral part of the Dedham community for more than 30 years. We look forward to enhancing her stellar reputation and service with our international reach and quality marketing."
Roberts began her career in 1978 and has specialized in Dedham’s historical homes.
"Dedham is a town steeped in history and culture. I’ve enjoyed working and being part of this community and have had the privilege to watch it change and grow over the years," said Roberts. "This town has some of the most spectacular historic homes in the Boston area. They deserve the kind of exposure and quality of service for which Sotheby’s is known. I can’t think of a better way to serve our clients, our neighbors."
She serves on the Worthington Committee of the Dedham Historical Society, which organizes the town’s historic house tour. She has also served on the Dedham Square Circle Committee and was a recent past President of Dedham Rotary. Roberts holds a Graduate Realtors Institute (GRI) designation from the Greater Boston Real Estate Board, and in the past has served as a director of MLS and president of the RE Council.
