Michael J. Gilberti Jr. has joined Danversbank as a senior mortgage loan officer.

Gilberti will be responsible for helping prospective homeowners in Boston, Chelsea, Revere and Malden, where four of Danversbank’s sixteen offices are located. His territory also includes Everett, Medford, Melrose, Somerville and Winthrop. He is available to meet with customers at any of the Danversbank locations listed above, the bank said in a statement.

Gilberti has more than thirty years of experience in banking – "the last twenty or so" in the commercial and residential mortgage lending areas, the bank said. He earned a Bachelors degree from the University of Massachusetts, and comes to Danversbank from Wells Fargo Bank in Beverly.
