Michael GillesMichael Gilles has been appointed executive vice president and chief financial officer at Cambridge Savings Bank.

Gilles will oversee the bank’s financial reporting, account and finance functions; risk-management programs; operations; information technology; and facilities operations while helping to lead long-term capital and strategic planning initiatives.

Gilles succeeds Wayne Patenaude, who became the bank’s president and CEO in December 2012.

Prior to joining Cambridge Savings Bank, Gilles served as executive vice president and chief operating/chief financial officer at Fidelity Cooperative Bank. Before that, he was senior executive vice president and chief operating/chief financial officer at Beverly National Corporation and Beverly National Bank.
