For the third consecutive year, Boston financial advisor Robert J. Glovsky has been named to Barron’s list of the nation’s top 100 independent investment advisors.
Glovsky, who serves as president of Mintz Levin Financial Advisors LLC, has practiced financial planning for more than 25 years. He has broad-based experience in individual tax planning and money management, according to a statement.
He currently serves as chair-elect of the board of directors of the Certified Financial Planners Boards of Standards, and will serve as chair next year.
According to Barron’s, the list is compiled based on assets under management, revenues the advisors generate for their firms and the quality of their practices.
Glovsky is also director of Boston University’s program for financial planners, the largest CFP board-registered program in New England and one of the largest in the country, according to a statement.
Worth Magazine has also recognized Golvksy as one of the nation’s leading financial advisors.
Glovsky received his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College and both his J.D. and master’s degree in taxation from Boston University School of Law.
