BayCoast Bank has appointed June D. Goguen as vice president and commercial lending officer.

In the role, Goguen’s responsibilities will include managing the bank’s existing commercial loan relationships and developing additional commercial lending business.

Goguen comes to BayCoast Bank with more than 22 years of experience in banking, and 15 years as a vice president and commercial loan officer. Most recently, she was vice president of commercial lending at Bridgewater Savings Bank, and before that, she served in this capacity at Eastern Bank. Goguen was previously a project manager for the state’s Department of Economic Development’s Office of Business Development.

In 2012, Goguen was named a Massachusetts Women in Business Champion by the Small Business Administration. She currently serves on the board of directors for the New Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce, UMass Dartmouth Enactus and UMass Dartmouth Leduc Center for Civic Engagement.
