Newton-based REIT Government Properties Income Trust has declared a regular quarterly common share distribution of 42-cents.

The distribution will be paid Nov. 22 to common shareholders of record as of the close of share trading on Oct. 27, according to a statement.

Government Properties Income Trust owns a national portfolio of properties primarily leased to the U.S. government.
