Officials today are celebrating the grand opening of The Residences at Neponset Field in Mattapan.
The $10 million elderly rental housing development at 20 Tchapitoulas St. helped create 31 new units of affordable rental housing for Boston seniors.
The city of Boston invested $2 million in the development, built by ETC Development Corp.
