Employees at Pittsfield’s Greylock Federal Credit Union have surpassed its annual United Way support, topping out over $116,000.

Greylock employees raised $81,877 of that total through employee pledges, raffles, flower sale, bingo night and other functions. Employee contributions were added to corporate support of $34,500, including Greylock’s partnership with Johnson Ford Lincoln Mercury Nissan to donate a car raffled off in support of the United Way.

"I am proud of my entire team for being consistent in their unparalleled support of the Berkshire United Way and making generous personal donations during these hard economic times," said Greylock President Marilyn L. Sperling. "Their donations and support are so important to the United Way and we are all eager to help. Making the Berkshires a wonderful place to live, work and raise our families certainly includes maintaining a strong United Way in Berkshire County."
