HallKeen Management has been named the facilities manager for SouthField, a sweeping 1,400-acre master-planned community in Weymouth. 

SouthField is a mixed-use development being created by LNR Property Corp. on the grounds of former South Weymouth Naval Air Station that operated from 1942 to 1997.

When completed, the area will have a 1.7 million-square-foot SouthField Corporate Center, 3,300 homes and retail use.

"As facilities manager for the community, we feel lucky that we are able to witness the vision of SouthField coming alive right before our eyes," said Chad Boulay, director of commercial management for Norwood-based HallKeen, which manages more than a million square feet of commercial space in the commonwealth.
