Haverhill Bank President, CEO DiBenedetto To Resign

Haverhill Bank President and Chief Operating Officer Peter L. DiBenedetto will step down from his position to pursue other career opportunities, according to a statement from the bank.

Thomas R. Faulkner will assume DiBenedetto’s responsibilities, serving as chairman and president of Haverhill Bank for the interim.

DiBenedetto first entered the banking industry as an examiner for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He later joined the former Northeast Community Credit Union in 1977 as treasurer, and eventually was named chief executive officer. When the former credit union merged with Haverhill Bank in January, DiBenedetto was named president and chief operating officer.
