Christopher Head of William Raveis Real Estate in Norwell has been inducted as the 2012 president of the Plymouth and South Shore Association of Realtors (PASS), the commonwealth’s second-largest Realtor association.
As president, Head will direct the internal and external activities of the association; preside at all meetings of the PASS board of directors and executive committee; act as the official spokesperson for the association on issues related to the real estate industry; and represent PASS members on the Massachusetts Association of Realtors board of directors.
Also sworn into office during were President-Elect Lenny Harris, of Jack Conway & Co. Inc. in Mansfield; Vice President Davenport Crocker Jr., of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Cohasset; Treasurer Richard Stevens of Jack Conway & Co. Inc. in Hanover and Norwell; Secretary Robert Germaine of Germaine Realty Group Inc. in Weymouth; and Past-President Marcia Gallagher Solberg of Macdonald & Wood Sotheby’s International Realty in Duxbury.
Inducted as PASS 2012 directors were Susan Condon, of CENTURY 21 Alliance Realty in Hanover; Brian Molisse, of Molisse Realty Group in Marshfield; Peggy Dinger, of William Raveis Real Estate in Norwell; Jeff Forsythe, of Hammond Residential in Hingham; Anne Murray, of CENTURY 21 Classic Gold Realty in Carver; Barbara Watkins, of Success! Real Estate Co. in Braintree; and Martha Zurn of The Green Co. in Plymouth.
The board of directors acts as the primary authority in the association, determining association policies as they affect overall operations and membership interests. All officers and directors assume their duties on Jan. 1, 2012, the group said in a statement.
PASS represents 2,300 members in 18 communities from the Neponset River Bridge in Quincy to the Cape Cod Canal.
