Kevin Higgins has been hired as the senior vice president of retail services at the Boston office CBRE/Grossman Retail Advisors.

Higgins will represent anchor retail tenants in store expansions as well as participate in urban and suburban leasing assignments, according to a statement. He will represent Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th and Eastern Mountain Sports.

"The addition of Mr. Higgins to our team has expanded the level of services that we provide our clients," said Howard Grossman, president and managing principal of CBRE/Grossman Retail Advisors. "His impressive history in the industry and the depth of his expertise will no doubt make a great impact on the marketplace."

Higgins has 25 years of experience, and before joining CBRE/Grossman Retail Advisors, he served as executive vice president at Katz & Assoc. of New York, according to a statement. He also served as Borders Group Inc.’s Northeast Region real estate manager and as Melville Realty Co.’s Northeast Region director of real estate.
