Hingham Boat Yard Sold For $1.4M

Hingham Boat Yard, a 46 slip marina at 26 Summer St., recently sold for $1.4 million.

Hingham Boat Yard LLC sold the property to B & K Enterprises, according to a statement. The buyer, a Hingham resident, plans to upgrade the property and continue the operation of the marina as it presently exists.

The property has been permitted for the construction of a new two story, 5,400-square-foot commercial building, to replace the existing structure. The new building was designed to house offices and service businesses, though it remains undecided whether any new construction will take place.

Vincent Albanese, principal of Paramount Partners of Braintree, represented the seller and procured the buyer.
