Hingham Institution for Savings’ board of declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of 26 cents per share, a 4 percent increase over the previous quarterly dividend.

The dividend will be paid on July 20 to stockholders of record as of July 10.

Robert H. Gaughen Jr., the bank’s president and CEO, said in a statement: “Continued organic growth in our balance sheet combined with outstanding cost control has produced some of the strongest and most consistent earnings in our industry. These results have allowed us to increase cash dividends declared in each of the last 18 years.”
