Historic Boston Inc. is adding a holiday-themed gift and souvenir shop to the Downtown Crossing building that includes its own headquarters.
Old Corner Christmas, a retail concept by New York-based N&F Global Corp., will open a ground-floor shop next month at 11 School St.
Owned and operated by N&F Global Corp. of New York, the 1,245-square-foot shop has an existing location at Faneuil Hall along with locations in Manhattan, Hollywood, San Francisco and Miami.
Along with Christmas-themed merchandise, the shops highlight other holidays throughout the year.
The 1718 building located on the site of Anne Hutchinson’s home is the oldest commercial building in downtown Boston, according to preservation nonprofit HBI, which relocated its own headquarters to the building in 2020.
HBI was formed in 1960 to oppose redevelopment of the site, and later expanded its mission to preserve notable properties and bring economic development to underserved neighborhoods.
