Matthew Holmes of Quincy has been named manager of Needham Bank’s Wellesley branch.

Holmes joins Needham Bank with five years experience in the banking industry, most recently as a branch manager with Sovereign Bank. He previously served as business development officer for Sovereign Bank, and worked at Bank of America and Premier Banking & Investments Group.

He holds a degree in organizational communications from Assumption College in Worcester.
