Government officials, community leaders and philanthropists will gather next week to honor advocates for the homeless and to raise funds for the Massachusetts Housing and Shelter Alliance (MHSA).
David Begelfer, CEO of NAIOP Massachusetts, State Rep. Byron Rushing (D-Boston) and Victory Programs Inc. will be honored at the 7th annual fundraising event for the Massachusetts Housing and Shelter Alliance.
The event will take place Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Omni Parker House Hotel’s rooftop ballroom in Boston.
Begelfer, Rushing and Victory Programs Inc. have contributed to ending homelessness in the Bay State. The event called "Home for Good: Join the Housing Revolution" will help raise funds to help the poor find a "home for good," according to a statement.
"I am humbled by the commitment to ending homelessness shown by this outstanding group of honorees," said MHSA President and Executive Director Joe Finn. "I look forward to congratulating our awardees and celebrating strides made in ending homelessness in the Commonwealth."
