Oxford-based Hometown Bank has appointed managers for its new branches in Athol and South Lancaster.

Cheryl A. Bossé has been appointed branch manager at the Hometown Bank located at 90 Exchange St. in Athol.

A resident of Gardner, Bossé was assistant treasurer at the Athol-Clinton Cooperative Bank before its merger with Hometown Bank earlier this year and has nearly 25 years of experience in all aspects of community banking, according to a statement.

Denise M. Fernald has been appointed branch manager at the Hometown Bank located at 131 Main St. in South Lancaster. A resident of Lunenburg, Fernald has more than 30 years of experience in all aspects of community banking, customer satisfaction and consumer loans, according to a statement.
