Oxford-based Hometown Bank has promoted Karen Yancik to vice president, compliance and risk management officer. Tina M. Puzo has been promoted to assistant vice president and will serve as the branch manager of Hometown Bank’s new Auburn branch.
Yancik is responsible for assuring that the bank complies with all federal and state industry related regulations and risk management. She is a member of the Eastern Massachusetts Compliance Network. Yancik holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Nichols College in Dudley.
Puzo has served as manager of Hometown Bank’s Webster branch since 2009. In addition to her banking experience, Puzo serves on the boards of directors for the Webster Dudley Oxford Chamber of Commerce and the Webster Education Foundation, and has been a committee member for the South County Relay for Life in Auburn since its inception in 2003.
