Newton-based Hospitality Properties Trust raised its regular quarterly common share distribution by 1 cent to 48 cents per common share, or $1.92 per share per year.

This distribution will be paid to HPT’s common shareholders of record as of the close of business on Oct. 25, and distributed on or about Nov. 22.
