Anchor Line Partners and Northwood Investors have completed redevelopment of the former U.S. Post Office facility in Waltham into 430,000 square feet of office and lab space.
Set on 36 acres near the intersection of Routes 2 and 128, on-site amenities at Post will include a food hall, multiple outdoor patios, a 10,000-square-foot fitness center, coffee bar, TV lounge, game room, obstacle course and private shuttle bus to MBTA commuter rail and the Red Line.
Anchor Line and Northwood investors acquired the property in 2015 for $39.5 million. Callahan was the construction manager for the redevelopment.
Boston-based Anchor Line Partners has acquired over 2.5 million square feet of office buildings in the area since its founding in 2013, including Cross Point in Lowell and 400, 410 and 460 Totten Pond Road in Waltham.
“Post fills an enormous gap in today’s office and lab market. Many large facilities are tired and boring work environments. We are the exact opposite. Post’s unique shape, size and volume combined with our insane amenities, will provided our tenants a competitive advantage in recruiting top talent. This is where the next big ideas will come to life.”
