Chobee Hoy, of Brookline’s Chobee Hoy Associates Real Estate Inc., will be honored by the Brookline High School’s 21st Century Fund.

The Brookline High School 21st Century Fund innovates effective local solutions to national challenges facing public high schools, according to a statement. Hoy has chaired or sat on the boards of numerous nonprofit Brookline organizations, including the Brookline Community Mental Health Center, Brookline Community Foundation, Brookline Education Foundation, Chamber of Commerce, Brookline Greenspace Alliance, Brookline Neighborhood Alliance, Coolidge Corner Theatre, Brookline Arts Center, Kid’s Clothes Club and the 21st Century Fund.

"Chobee is an inspiration to us all – if there is an important cause or community event, Chobee is there," said Carol Kopelman, 21st Century Fund board member and gala co-chairwoman. "Now it is our turn to thank her for all she has done for the high school and for the Greater Brookline community."

"While I’m honored to be recognized, I truly feel that giving back to my community is my duty and I enjoy being able to contribute to the enrichment of our surroundings," said Hoy.
