Architectural and design firm Margulies Perruzzi Architects of Boston has been selected to design 8,000 square feet of office space for MOCA Systems Inc., a program and construction management firm.
Relocating its corporate headquarters from Watertown to Newton, MOCA Systems wanted to expand its office using sustainable building practices. MOCA Systems said it selected Margulies Perruzzi Architects based on the firm’s experience designing corporate LEED-certified projects.
Margulies Perruzzi Architects is providing architectural and LEED documentation services for the project. Upon completion in October, the new MOCA Systems office will apply to become LEED Certified, the firm said.
Strategic Workspaces of Boston is providing interior finishes and furniture selection. Kennedy Ventures is the design-build contractor for the project.
