Ned Collier has joined Boston-based ICON architecture inc. as principal of higher education.

Collier has 25 years of experience in the planning and design of academic facilities, including 15 years as a senior associate and principal at Boston-based architecture firm Perry Dean Rogers. Collier’s prior clients include Harvard University, the Georgia Institute of Technology and Dickinson College.

His portfolio includes academic and administration buildings, auditoria and lecture halls, libraries/learning centers, campus centers and dining facilities, fine and performing arts facilities, residence halls and campus precinct planning, according to a statement.

"Ned brings deep experience and engaging vision to ICON’s higher education practice – we are delighted to have him leading this group," ICON President Nancy Ludwig said in a statement.
