Boston’s Industrial Credit Union (ICU) has awarded 10 college scholarships of $1,000 apiece through its 18th annual College Scholarship Program.

The scholarship money can be used to pay for college tuition, books and fees, according to a statement.

"ICU is grateful to once again offer these scholarships," said ICU President Roy Campana. "When we have an opportunity to give something back to the community we serve, we’re all better off."
