Taurus New England Investment Corp. has purchased an 81,603-square- foot office building in Newton for $11.15 million.

The building, located at 313 Washington St., has four floors and is 91 percent occupied, according to a statement. It was sold by Transwestern Investment Co.

Transwestern was represented by Richards Barry Joyce & Partners’ Frank Petz and James Tribble.
