One Beacon St., BostonThe Boston office of Robeco Investment Management will relocate to 31,210 square feet of office space at One Beacon St.

Robeco will move from 28 State St. to the 30th floor of One Beacon St. The company expects to occupy the space in October.

David Richardson and Garrett Larivee of McCall & Almy represented Robeco. Jay Driscoll, Bill Anderson and David Martel of Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord, an affiliate of Beacon Capital Partners LLC.

The move will allow Robeco to stay in downtown Boston and consolidate its workplace from two floors to a single, more efficient floorplate, according to McCall & Almy.

The new space will be customized to suit Robeco’s needs, including office and supporting space for more than 70 employees, as well as eight trading desks and a specialized research room.

"McCall & Almy helped us look at a number of options in downtown Boston and find the most cost-effective solution for our long-term needs," said Matt Davis, chief financial officer for Robeco.  "The move to One Beacon Street gives us the opportunity to create an optimal working environment that supports Robeco’s focus on investment performance, client service and support."

Diversified Project Management Inc. of Newton is providing project management services for the relocation. Gensler & Associates Architects and RDK Engineers are completing the design and engineering build-out of the space.
