Frank Petz has joined Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) to steer the firm’s capital markets team in New England.
Petz, formerly the head of Richards Barry Joyce & Partners capital markets arm, will now serve as managing director to build a broad capital markets presence for JLL throughout New England, focusing on debt finance, equity placement and investment sales, according to a press release.
Petz will partner with Boston market director David Slye, as well as Jay Koster, Americas Capital Markets President, to continue to expand Jones Lang LaSalle’s client service capabilities nationally and to bolster the firm’s position as a full capital markets operation throughout New England, according to JLL. Petz joins existing Jones Lang LaSalle veteran Scott Jamieson, who along with Petz, will continue to focus on expanding the firm’s investment sales presence in New England.
Petz earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce and is a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), the Urban Land Institute, and the Real Estate Finance Association (REFA). He is also actively involved in the Big Brothers Big Sisters Association of Massachusetts, as both a board member since 2002 and as a Big Brother since 2001.
