Jack Conway & Co. is gearing up for its "VA Blitz Weekend," where agents and managers will be trained on VA loan products.
On Nov. 7, Conway will hold public seminars across the region aimed at educating veterans on the VA loan.
The Norwell-based real estate firm has planned the event on the weekend before Veteran’s Day to honor local service men and women, according to a statement.
"These folks have given years in defense of our country, and we owe them a debt of gratitude," said Chairman Jack Conway, a veteran of World War II. "And the VA loan product is one of the finest available. We are showing our agents how to use it."
More than 100 agents from Conway have been trained on the VA loan, which offers 100 percent financing and is fully insured by the VA. There are no income limits, no monthly mortgage insurance and the loan is assumable.
"We will be there on Nov. 7 and beyond to help the veterans," said President Dick Cahill, who is overseeing the Conway educational program. "And our agents will be well qualified to explain the VA loan process."
