Steve Jacobs has been promoted to vice president of marketing at Quincy’s Arbella Insurance Group, effective Nov. 30.

The auto and property insurer also promoted Tracy Hurley to vice president of claims, according to a statement.

"These promotions clearly demonstrate Arbella’s commitment to developing leaders across our organization and within our industry," said Arbella President and CEO John Donohue. "I look forward to continuing to work with both Steve and Tracy as they take on their new roles."

Jacobs will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of Arbella’s market position. He is a 20-year veteran, and recently built Arbella’s claims organization.
