Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union has awarded this year’s MoneyStrong college scholarships. The winners received a total of $15,000 to help fund their education costs.

"College expenses have risen dramatically in recent years and we are happy to provide hard-working local students with assistance in meeting those costs," Mark Cochran, president of Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union, said in a statement.

The winners each received a $500 scholarship at a June 12th reception at Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union’s headquarters in Lowell.

The MoneyStrong scholarship winners are: Kayla Marandola of Bishop Guertin High School; Abbie King and Sarah Guilbeault of Central Catholic High School; Andrew Parkins, Ashley Kosowicz, Daniel Enos, Danielle Turcotte, James Karlson, Julie Morrissette, Matthew Ferri, Michael Logan, Stephanie McHugh, and Victoria Taylor, all of Dracut High School; John Wojtowicz of Greater Lowell Technical High School; Jenzel Esparas of Innovation Academy Charter School; Amanda Dauteuil of Lowell Catholic High School; Kyle Jarrett, Leah Moynihan, and Monyrauth Mam, all of Lowell High School; Alexis Apel and Marisa Brady, both of Methuen High School; Andrew Baker of Nashoba Valley Technical High School; and Katherine Huot of Nashua High School North.
