i2M Center for Advanced MaterialsJLL Construction has completed a new 80,000-square-foot research and manufacturing center for Entegris, a supplier to the microelectronics industry, in Bedford.

The $30 million i2M Center for Advanced Materials contains filtration media and low-temperature coatings used to develop components used in semiconductor manufacturing environments.

The 17-month project included business, factory, clean rooms storage and assembly rooms for the facility, which houses approximately 100 employees.

The JLL Construction team included managing director Peter Stankiewicz, construction managers Scott Dean and Bob Kelly and superintendents Steve Pizzuto and Dan Browne. The project team also included architect Perkins + Will, MEP engineer Vanderweil, structural engineer Simpson Gumpertz & Heger and commissioning agent RDK.
