JLL logoJones Lang LaSalle announced it has shortened its brand name to JLL and unveiled a new corporate logo.

The Chicago-based investment and real estate company said the changes were made to make its name more recognizable and pronounceable around the world, and to be more suitable for use on mobile apps and other digital channels.

JLL’s New England headquarters in Boston is marking the change with a radio and print advertising campaign.

"The JLL ‘Worldmark’ logo symbolizes all of this: a global company with local roots, built from multiple types of expertise, working in collaboration with clients wherever they need our services," Charles Doyle, JLL’s chief marketing and communications officer, said in a statement.

The JLL name and new logo will be rolled out globally over the next two years. The firm’s legal name, Jones Lang LaSalle Inc., and that of its wholly owned subsidiary, LaSalle Investment Management, will remain unchanged.
