Edward F. Joubert of Duxbury has been re-elected for a three-year term as a director of Whitman’s Mutual Bank.

He has served on the board of directors since 1977 and is a member of the executive committee.

Joubert, a Whitman native, owned and operated Joubert’s Clothing Store, a mainstay of the Whitman Center business district for 60 years. He continues to actively manage his commercial properties in Whitman, and is associated with William Raveis Real Estate in Duxbury, specializing in residential lending, according to a statement.

"My first savings account was with this bank," he said. " I have always appreciated the small-town, community flavor that Mutual Bank represents."
